Description: The house is a Grade 2* Listed Building. Parts of the house date back to the 13th and 14th centuries. Robert Shreeve Associates have been involved in several projects including: 

  1. Conversion of roof space to the form additional bedrooms and bathroom, detached oak-framed summerhouse including changing rooms, shower room, kitchen and sitting room.

  2. New swimming pool with pavilion including terrace area, barbeque area, pergola and hard landscaping. 

  3. New conservatory, terrace and landscaping. 

  4. Extension and alterations of existing three bay garage.

NEW EXTERNAL CANOPY TO LISTED HOUSE

TUNBRIDGE WELLS

Project: New canopy to Grade 2* Listed house in Calverley Park in Tunbridge Wells Kent

Description: The house is Grade 2* Listed and designed by Decimus Burton in Calverley Park. The detailing of the proposed replacement canopy was carefully considered and designed. The project won the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Civic Award in 2010. 

TWO STOREY EXTENSION TO LISTED HOUSE CROWBOROUGH

Project: Stone farmhouse on the outskirts of Crowborough East Sussex

Description: The existing house is a Grade 2 listed stone farmhouse located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The proposed extension included the formation of a kitchen/breakfast area, family room, tv room, study and ancillary areas on the ground floor. Two bedrooms and a bathroom were formed within the roof space. The stonework for the extension was sourced from the same quarry as the stone for the original house.

SINGLE STOREY EXTENSION TO LISTED HOUSE HAWKHURST

Project: Listed Grade 2 house in Hawkhurst Kent

Description: Contemporary extension to a Grade 2 listed house near the church in Hawkhurst. The existing house has a black exposed timber frame dating from the 16thcentury. The appearance of the extension matches the framing of the existing house by utilising black stained vertical cladding with structural glass.

EXTENSION AND REFURBISHMENT OF LISTED HOUSE PENSHURST

Project: Two storey rear extension, full refurbishment and internal alternations to a Grade 2 listed large detached cottage in Penshurst Kent

Description: The two-storey extension including a new staircase forms additional accommodation and was designed using traditional materials and construction methods to match the existing listed house. The interior of the existing house was carefully refurbished with close cooperation with the conservation department and the works included full replacement of the roof, reusing the existing tiles with additional second hand tiles to match
